Photography isn't just a matter of snapping a shutter, it's about seeing and envisioning.

Light and shadows interact all the time. We all see how they do so. The vivid colors of a sunset, street lamps, neon signs. With every change of tone or colour or angle the image is different. My personal view is that we need to make time to stop and notice. As I do, I strive to capture varied examples of how light and shadow play with each other to create beautiful images.

I have been a photographer since 1984 and I am passionate about envisioning and isolating images of what I see around me. As you review my portfolio, you will see that I capture many different variations of light and shadow.

I have been a photographer since I was about 14. Now as a professional I finally converted from film a few years ago and I am using Sony’s flagship model: the α900 DSLR. The Sony Alpha DSLR system is built on the dna of Minolta’s long history of making and designing the best camera systems and lenses that you can find. I believe that Sony’s vision of continuing to leverage that history by producing innovative camera systems and incredibly precise lenses matches my desire to use excellent tools to capture what I envision.
